I think Obama's notion of negotiating our way to shared prosperity is profoundly misguided. The nature of my work has put me at some big tables with some very big shots. I'm convinced that the powers that be love negotiating. In fact, they have mastered it as a means to stifle reform. Is Obama playing into their hands or is he playing along?
