Ex-GOP chair: Boston turnout "very light"

Reid Morrison, at right, is not your ordinary poll worker. As former finance chair of the Mass. Republican Party and member of the Electoral College, Morrison has seen an election or two in his day. How does turnout today compare?

"Very light," he assesses, "and I've been a poll worker on and off for thirty years."

Morrison's fellow worker at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Boston, John Campbell, served as a staff sergeant in the Army during the first Gulf War. Campbell adds a note of optimism, saying that he has seen "very few" voters, but "lots of first-timers, and very young voters."
