To the state of Illinois:
In the spirit of "money fixes everything," do not look to the issues when voting in Tuesday's primary. Look to Barack Obama. It doesn't matter what his take is on the war in Iraq. It doesn't matter what his thoughts are on healthcare reform. It doesn't matter that his son was kicked out of summer camp for hanging a dog. (Oops, that was Mike Huckabee...!).
The point is, if elected Obama can finance his pet project of improving the Chicago economy. Who cares how (un)successful his past attempts were. What matters is that if president, Obama can put Illinois in a unique position to reap financial funding from pork barreling to enhance our windy city. So, when abandoning all party loyalty and stances on key issues, embrace the advantages that personal politics in our political system can indulge us.
Money might not fix all problems, but it can fix a lot of them. God Bless America. And Illinois.
